Soulshine defeats Depression

Let your Soul Shine

written by: Lisa Morgan

Depression happens to the best of us. Most of us refer to it as the blues & some among us have made a living writing blues tunes & singing them successfully. Others among us have a beer, a glass of wine & sing the blues ...badly...sing the blues very badly. It's the thought that counts! The blues will come & go through out a lifetime, as it should. We can not appreciate the the good time, joy, bliss, happiness, the laughter without experiencing the lows, blues, pain & tear that will fall down our cheeks.

Attitude adjustments are life's way of forming character & molding us into shape. ~

Lisa Morgan

Roll with the punches or get the hell out of the way. Seriously move out of the way before the punches hit you or you need to get out of the way. Alas we are all human thus none of us are perfect in any way. We fail, we fall, we get back up. Get back up! My mother always says, "Learn from the mistakes of others; you can't live long enough to make them all yourself." Some people may not have gotten that Mama Memo, so I'm posting it for you now.

Depression Kills & Soulshine Heals

It's those time when we do not snap out of the blues that darkness overtakes us. Depression is an extremely dark, lonely place to dwell. No one wants to reside in darkness. It's a cold, bitter place where time stands still. Depression can be squelched. Soulshine is the cure for common depression.  There is always someone who has is having a worse day than you or has been dealt a hand possibly without a hand or two good feet. We mourn the dead. We end a relationship. We learn to love again, to live again, to breathe again. It is the dark that makes us crave the light. Depression kills & Soulshine heals. Choose wisely my friends.

I look around me at God's creations & I see wonder that abounds. I view people whose lives are much harder than anything I might search to complain about. I can walk, so I can make a conscience decision to walk in light. God's light has been a constant saving grace in my life. Jesus' sacrifice was a selfless act, that humbles me. Being meek is not being timid, it is being humble. There is always someone who will appreciate a smile or desperately need someone to smile their way. I choose to smile until my soul shines to light my pathway from darkness into a light filled space.

Believe - Achieve - Receive- Give - Live

When there is only darkness, let your light shine through to pierce the darkness; others will see your light & mirror it bringing more light. Sometimes being the first to let your light shine, you'll bring light to others. Light will always overcome darkness. Depression is ceased by doing something for some less fortunate than yourself. Depression feeds off of self & is starved by selflessness. Soulshine will defeat the darkness of depression when your selfless acts bring joy to others, your soul will shine with bliss. Light your candle & let it be a beacon for others who are in darkness. Soulshine kicks depression in the butt saying "Snap out of it! Life is good!" Soulshine it's the cure for depression. Remember you are blessed so be a blessing to others.

My Swinging Past

                                                              My Swinging Past                                  3/1/2017

                                                          written by: Lisa Morgan

As a child I used to sit with my maternal grandmother "Granny" swinging to & fro watching the grass grow or so it seemed to me at the time. My Granny was a Poarch Creek Indian lady of small stature, although she was larger than life itself to me. I'd brush my Granny's salt & pepper colored hair & she'd regal me with stories of the past. She'd talk & I'd listen, which for anyone who knows me was quite the feat, for me to listen & not chime in, nonetheless that is exactly how it happened. Granny was very near & dear to my heart. I remember the last time I saw her she was swinging on the front porch & telling me she wouldn't be around much longer. She had a premonition & her life was filled with premonitions that came to pass, as did this last one. Granny was a gentle soul, a kind woman, a tolerant woman & a God fearing woman who loved her family.

The reason I told this backstory to you is because it was a everyday occurrence in my Granny's life to swing to & fro in her old porch swing with the chipped paint. It wasn't until I was writing my book Get Beach Slapped a couple of years ago that it dawned on me why Granny loved swinging on her front porch. I was sitting on my back porch or lanai for those who prefer a more colorful term for porch, anyway I was doing absolutely nothing suffering from writers block when it occurred to me how peaceful it was just to be still. I rarely am ever still much less quiet so for me to be both simultaneously was quite miraculous & yet there I was at peace. I began watching the birds tending their nests while singing a happy tune. The squirrels were scampering from tree to tree forging for food & chirping at one another, as if it were a choreographed. I noticed the bees being chased by dragonflies, while my cats were mesmerized by the dragonflies. My dogs would occasionally chime in just to make their presence known. It was as if an entire orchestrated musical was playing out in front of me, quite the comical musical I might add. I wondered if one of the squirrels might be the mother to my orphaned squirrel Baby Nutt. I suppose I'll never know.

Why had I not noticed this before? How simple it was to stop, to do nothing but watch quietly & learn. I hearkened by to the days of simplicity with my Granny sitting, listening & watching. Granny's escape from the stresses of her day was to sit, swing, watch & listen. I suppose I'll never truly know what she was thinking about as she would sit gazing at her yard. I was too young to understand what being an adult entailed or better still what being an aging adult entailed. I was young, vivacious, ignorant beyond belief, filled with wonder & love for my Granny. She never was too busy for me though she was a hard working woman. She never was too tired to talk to me even though looking back now I see how exhausted she was at the time. She had a gentle voice, a forgiving soul, a humble woman indeed. Granny's swing was her sanctuary, her escape, her solitude where she would be still & unwind.

It reminds me of the bible verse Psalm 46:10 "Be still & know that I am God....". I believe my Granny was appreciating the many wonders of God's hands, the beauty, the enormity, which gave her humbleness. I wanted nothing more than to become wealthy one day to buy my granny a big house & take care of her, but it was not to be since she died early one morning, while visiting my Papa at the hospital where he was suffering from a concussion & broken collarbone; after a fall from atop a barn he was painting. Don't ask it's a long story, much longer than this blog. So my Granny passed away one month before my 18th birthday & I never bought her a big house, but never expressed a desire for anything, other than what she had each day.

Granny taught me to be still even though it took 35 years for the lesson to sink in. I never claimed to be Einstein. My Daddy's birthday will be coming up in April, he would have been 77. Daddy died at age 67. My Granny passed away at 65, so forgive me if I get a little melancholy over an old porch swing with chipped paint. My desire these days is to obtain a porch swing, whereby I can swing to & fro doing nothing, while gazing at the awe inspiring creations of God's hands. I guess I'm a much humbler woman than I realized. Maybe I'm a bit more like Granny than I realized. Thank you God! It's time to feed Baby Nutt. Life is filled with miracles everyday, if we only be still long enough to enjoy them.

Have a blessed week,
Lisa Morgan

Signs at the Crossroads of Fear & Courage

Signs at the Crossroads of Fear & Courage                            by: Lisa Morgan

Signs are supposed to guide us in the right direction. Signs can also be misleading, humorous or deceiving. Navigating a road to success can be complicated especially when you have misinformation guiding your path. Allowing fear to guide you cause you to be lost down a road of isolation coming to an intersection at the crossroad of fear & courage. When what you fear makes you angry, take that passion from the anger & transform into courage. Fear is a powerful weapon that an enemy can use to subdue you. You can also allow fear to hold you down in chains, when all you have to do to free yourself from the chains is to gain knowledge. Knowledge will break chains that bind you. You must be careful of where you obtain the knowledge for sometimes wickedness will fool you into thinking you are filled with knowledge & wisdom, when in fact you are pumped up with arrogance, pride & ignorance. Allow that which you fear to encourage you to have courage. The courage can then be used for good to defeat, whatever caused the fear. Be a person of great courage & not of anger or fear. Also remember that which you fear might not be so frightful if you research what it is that you fear. Inform yourself with knowledge not hearsay, but truth. The truth may open your eyes to see that which you feared may not deserve the fear, for there is nothing to fear.

A wise person knows knowledge is a powerful tool. The first key to wisdom is to revere the Lord God & from there you can start paving your pathway to wisdom. Acknowledging that you are not the center of this vast universe is key to being a wise person. Humbling yourself is not a bad thing but an empowering thing., You see if you put things in perspective realizing how insignificant you are as an individual among all the creations God has created, then you are humbled, thus you can out your pride aside & hear God, wherein comes the beginning of wisdom. Sit on top of a mountain & look out at the valley below or rest your weary bones onto a secluded beach to gaze out upon the ocean, then if you should feel how small you actually are in the scheme of things. Those who think they are on top of the world have a hard day of reckoning coming, when they realize that world that sat upon was nothing but a spinning wheel. Spinning wheels blowout from time to time leaving you stranded. Be aware of those who speak of everything you want to hear, that tickle your ears with sweet nothings, because that is exactly what they speak of...nothing.

If you have ever felt helpless in a situation, where you could not help someone or save someone, then you know how powerless we as human actually are despite all of our arrogance. I will say that prayer helps me.  Everyone walks their own path in life. Sometimes we choose the difficult road that is winding with treacherous cliffs leading to dead ends, even though there was a straight path ahead which was a much easier path; it appeared to be boring, thus the more exciting path was chosen. The truth is even a straight & narrow roadway will have crossroads. The crossroads we face will all have consequences regardless of the choice & these are the lessons we learn from. If you are lucky to live long enough, you realize to learn from the mistakes of others, so you don't have to make those same mistakes yourself. When you waste time making mistakes that others before you have repeatedly made then you are being a fool. Life does not give us refunds on wasted time.

Dreams are a funny thing. Dreams can be a driving force or a nightmare. Dreams can become illusions or be prophetic. Dreams leading to aspirations, believing that you can achieve, achieving goals through hard work & seeing the fruits of your labor flourish is the reward you reap. Likewise if your dreams are lined with greed, envy, jealousy, sloth (laziness), pride; then inevitably what you have sown will be a crop of malcontent, anger, deceit more of the aforementioned greed, jealousy, sloth & pride. The viscous cycle of jealousy, anger, pride, sloth only lead to a nightmare negating any rest or peaceful dreams. Dare to dream but enact wisdom, courage, hard work to see those dreams come to fruition.

A garden does not flourish without being tended to with care. Briers, weeds or tares will suck the life out of everything they touch. You must be mindful to remove the briers, weeds/tares from your garden, otherwise you will have a brier patch. Briers & weeds always attach themselves closely to the living things around them to disguise themselves. Make sure your "Garden of Eden" is not transformed into a "Garden of Weeden", through fear, laziness, ignorance & deceit.

I wanted to add one more tidbit of wisdom before I finish this post, be mindful not to post your Google Search to your Facebook status. The world may not be ready to know that much about you. Rest assured your next visit to church, the local watering hole or family gathering might never be the same, if you do make that mistake. Never look to me for wisdom, as I am constantly learning myself. I merely offer up life experiences, after making my own mistakes; you can do with the information what you will. Choice is a beautiful thing. Freedom is a powerful thing. When you combine knowledge, truth, choice & freedom, you have a fundamental cornerstone for building a foundation. America was founded in such a way. Let freedom ring, while never forgetting freedom is not free, there is always a cost to anything & everything in life, remember those crossroads I spoke of earlier, they come into play with choice. Here's to hoping each one of you has an interesting journey on your road to wisdom, keeping your eyes & ears open for truth.

Beware: Killer of Tequila on the Loose

The following is an excerpt from by book Get Beach Slapped, a satirical Non PC reality check. I took a realistic look at life & my life to be exact. My rebellious views from my twenties had grown up & I found that my views had changed but not my values, this is very important not to conflate the two. Keeping your sense of humor is advantageous, as you age because you will need it. I found that having a sense of direction is far more important, than a sense of humor as you age. The ability to find a bathroom wherever you are is crucial after age 50.  Go ahead & read the meme I created. If this post gave you a giggle or chuckle then go to Barnes & Noble to download my reality check book GET BEACH SLAPPED or purchase the paperback, if you're old school like me.
Amazon has my book, as does Google play. I personally like to support bookstores, but I'm thankful if you buy the book.

Have a stellar week my friends. I'll be doing some much needed writing over the next few weeks, so stay posted. #GetBeachSlapped #RT #books #

"Life is all about how you handle Plan B"

"Life is all about how you handle Plan B"

by Lisa Morgan                                                                               Dec. 20, 2016

Don't you just hate it when your preferred plan of action aka "Plan A" gets fumbled? The next thing you know you're looking at your options, one of which would be your backup plan or "Plan B". When you have failed at "Plan A" the original plan of action, which is usually your preferred method of approach, then you can typically look to a good "Plan B", for your backup plan.

It's imperative to have a good "Plan B" you can more often land on your feet rather than on your butt, see the failure of "Plan A" to remind you of the fall you took. "Plan A" as a general rule will not come with a soft because you intended to succeed, from the beginning. Who wants to fail? Now that we have established "Plan A" is not a fail proof or even a fool proof plan, then we must do due diligence, to ensure the utmost success with "Plan B".  Failure is not the goal in anything you seek out to accomplish, otherwise you would simply stay on the couch or in bed, which is never the answer to anything.

You may find that your secondary course of action could very well be the better option to have taken from the beginning, but perhaps you were overly anxious, unprepared or just ego driven with the original "Plan A". If we assume the "Plan A" was from being an unprepared, overly anxious, egomaniac; then you can safely rename your "plan of action" to "plan of an ass". You will soon realize "Plan A" is not nearly as appealing as it once was, now is it? The backup plan you thought was for losers might  be viewed as the "plan of blessings" or the new & improved  "Plan B". It all depends on your perspective.

The perspective you normally will achieve, after having fallen on your butt is usually one of humbleness or regret, when you can look at it as a learning experience. Somehow we humans view learning experiences as a positive thing versus failures as a negative vibe. When they are in fact one in the same, as in the glass is half full or half empty. The glass may be at the halfway mark, neither empty or full, but waiting for the next course of action. If you realize it's up to you to either fill the glass or empty it, then you place yourself in control, rather than being helpless. Your next move determines the outcome, while unwittingly you are building your character. you'll need that character if "Plan B" turns out to be a dud, because "Plan C" the plan of character building is sometimes called the "curve-ball plan" or the"couch plan", because you never anticipated having a backup plan for the backup plan. The couch plan" usually consists having a pity party, eating, drinking, continuing the pity party alone, eating while wearing your once loose sweats or yoga pants, until you've gained 20 pounds & those loose sweats or yoga pants make you feel like a sausage in a tight casing.  Your occupy the couch approach will hopefully become so boring, that a new "plan of direction" or "Plan D" is inevitable. Hey sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to ensure that you are not still planted on the couch with your "Plan D" being the "depression plan". Slap yourself back into reality with a good old fashioned "Beach Slap" or a wave of reality, as I like to call it. Reality checks are the answer to selfies.

Life is all about how you handle "Plan B". Karma is always watching to see if after "Plan A" you played by the rules or if you went rogue. Those who go rogue, throwing out the Golden Rule & replacing it with Lawlessness or the lack of all rules, find that Karma has named "Plan B" the "Bitch Plan". We all know Karma is a bitch when you do not play fairly. Karma smiles warmly upon those who try their best & their "Plan B" will be a "Blessed Plan".

Make your plans but do know that while you make plans, God laughs.

Green Acres is the place for me? Could be!

written by: Lisa Morgan                                                 10/21/2016

Did any of you see the sitcom Green Acres? Ah of course you did because if you are too young to remember that sitcom then you would most likely not be reading this blog post. I wonder how many people some 45 years after the sitcom would actually ditch the city to live on a farm or at the very least in a rural community with country folks? I for one would have no problem with it whatsoever.

I do acknowledge there are some drawbacks to being in a rural area such as not having shopping centers, fine dining, entertainment, access to a 24 hour convenience store with gas pumps, mass transit. You do know that those are the very reasons why you would also choose a farming community or rural area to live. It's about experiencing a simpler lifestyle, which is not for the faint of heart, who fret over being being more than three miles from what they desire at the moment.

Following the red brick path is not the same as following the yellow brick road, people work hard in a rural area; they farm the land or at the least grow gardens from which they eat versus going to a super market. The red brick path leads to a farmhouse in a quaint country area where people do not put on Gucci, they put on working boots & jeans. The path of red bricks are worn from hard work, families going to & fro from the front porch, as the screen door slams. You will inevitably hear a female voice say,"Don't slam that screen door!" The brick path that leads up to the front steps of a farmhouse is not pretentious, what it is for many is a way of life to follow the straight & narrow path. There is something to be said for taking a simple approach to life, following your heart, not caring about opinions of people who do not live in your community or who do not know you, doing what you love & loving what you do. Life is short & some people seem to figure that out long before others hence they live every day with purpose.

I think Green Acres is the life for me. It's a good thing this blog is not in stereo where you could actually hear me sing the theme song to the show. My dogs just looked at me like I was in pain, lots of pain.  I digress from the idea of living simple. No one is keeping you from achieving your goals but you! If you desire to live in the country, in rural America, on the side of a mountain or in a seaside fishing village; then make that move. YOLO means you only live once, so why not start living simple.

The only things we regret at the end of our lives are the missed opportunities, that we were too scared to reach out & grasp. I have missed a few, squandered others & I hope to make the most of the ones life offers to me from here on out, until the good Lord above calls my name. Until the next installment of my blog remember there are far worse things you can do than be self sufficient, thrifty, handy, purposeful. Watch for an opportunity, as it will pass you by like a warm summer breeze through the oak trees.

Buttercups hold onto your Whiny Hineys

Buttercups Hold onto your Whiny Hineys

by Lisa Morgan                                                                                            Sept. 9, 2016
The Buttercup Generation of Whiny babies

The Buttercup generation cries because they're offended by words, by actions, by appearances, by appearances of actions & they're offended that others might be offended, by the tantrums of the Buttercups. The Buttercups stomp & burn our American flag, they sit down in protest at our National Anthem. Contrast the Children of the 40's, 50's, 60's & 70's  who cried when we got whoopings, because our parents wanted to make sure we knew right from wrong & we did not embarrass them by acting like unruly brats or Buttercups. The Children of the 40's, 50's, 60's & 70's hold the American flag in high esteem along with the National Anthem. Hey Buttercups hold onto your hineys because LIFE has not yet begun to Whoop your A$$es. Life has a funny way of slapping your behind or hiney back into reality,  when you get too big for your britches (pants).  FYI: If you check the southern dictionary of slang then you will find that britches are pants, whoopings are serious spankings but not abuse & the hiney is your behind, butt or A$$. I'm sure my mother will call me with a few choice words for me after she reads that I wrote the word A$$. (IF you must ask what a Whooping is, then you have Never had one, trust me!) ~ Lisa Morgan www.getbeachslapped.blogspot.com

My Bucket List became a Bouquet List

My Bucket List became a Bouquet List

written by Lisa Morgan                                                                                         3/25/2016

Life happens to us when we aren't paying attention. Sometimes if we take a moment to reflect on our lives then we find the most amazing things were taking place; things that we had wished for at times but never expected to happen. Dreams can become reality. It's what you do when the dream becomes reality that truly matters the most.

Everyone it seems is making bucket lists these days. You know that good old to do list of things we want to experience before we kick the proverbial bucket falling into the final resting place.  It made perfectly good sense to me sit down in front of my laptop, peck away at the keys to produce a simple bucket list. What I found was it's not as easy as you might think. My premise was that if you had only one day left to live, but you could do anything or go anywhere to do that anything; what would it be? I was stumped. I thought I would reflect on the fifteen years of my life, in order to get some perspective on the things I had wanted to accomplish but never quite got around to doing, in the South we call that "roundtuit" or get around to it. I sat down with a paper & pen at my kitchen bar to pen what I've accomplished over the last fifteen years. God bring you what you need in the season that you need it to come to you, even if you had forgotten what you needed.

I'm a dreamer with realist tendencies or vice versa & even so I consider myself to be a down to earth person. What I found was quite astonishing to me. My bucket list of things I had wanted to achieve twenty years ago had actually happened to me, not necessarily that I felt like I made them happen. Does that make any sense? I had at various time vocalized or day dreamed about wanting to attain certain goals, but with the direction that my life was going at the time, I might as well have been hoping to walk on the moon or dance with Brad Pitt. Although the dance with Brad Pitt option will remain open as long as I'm breathing.
I digress once again so back to the handwritten list I was penning while sitting at the bar in my kitchen one morning. I sipped on my second large mug of java clicking my pen on the counter top. I started to put down on paper my achievements minuscule or grande. This is what I wrote:

Create Paintings or Artwork
Sell at least one painting or piece of artwork (I'm an Artist)
Get on a Plane (Conquered a fear)
Write TV show concepts & have them looked at by Hollywood Execs
Go to Hollywood Oscar parties (realize that I'm Not the starstruck type)
Buy a Mercedes ( realize the new wears off the label after a few weeks but still cool )
Produce & Direct a documentary film   (I'm a Producer & Director)
Write a Screenplay & have it filmed (I'm a Screenwriter)
Write a book
Have an admired comic laugh at my writing (David Brenner)
Write, Act, Produce & Direct a sizzle reel for a TV show (I'm an Actress)
Act in film play productions in Georgia (Not Oscar worthy just fun)
Find True Forgiveness
Pay cash for a house (good timing both in buying, selling & buying again)
Realize that you have a best friend, a true friend
Have my book Published (I'm an Author)
Sell at least one copy of my book (Yay!)
Write a Blog
Go to a Rolling Stones concert
Realize my soulmate is not perfect but neither am I
Appreciate my life

When I had finished this list of accomplishments, it dawned on me that this was an awesome bucket list, that I never could have imagined accomplishing twenty years ago. I decided to rename "My Bucket List" with a more deserving name & I christened it "My Bouquet List". The list had become a much more aromatic, colorful list therefore more deserving of a title befitting a fragrant stroll in a garden of life. No matter what I achieve from here until they lay me under the earth to push up daisies, I will consider my life to have been far more colorful than I could have written for myself. You see all the BS I have dealt with has cultivated a fertile ground for a lovely garden from which to pick a bouquet of flowers. Reality checks come when you least expect them but are most needed. God had given me a Bouquet List, while I was looking for a Bucket List. All things are possible with God.

You Never Saw it Coming....Until the Trump Sounded!

You never saw it coming....until the Trump sounded!

 written by Lisa Morgan                                2/27/2016

I ran across this show on Newsmax TV last night called "Unfiltered". I watched a documentary film titled "They Come to America 3: Obama's Legacy", which was very enlightening. Not living in a metropolis, a southern border town or a northern border town, in Michigan or Minnesota in particular, I did not fully comprehend the extent of the Muslim invasion, the invasion of Illegals. Unless you experience it first hand, you truly do not get the same perspective on the situation. My eyes were opened to exactly why many thousands or hundreds of thousands of Trump fans are concrete in their position to align with him come what may.

When you live in the aforementioned areas or a large city, where your daily life is infested with illegals & Muslims who are living off of the entitlements that we taxpayers foot the bill for, or you have your children coming home from school with stories of how they are being taught about Islam, then you can not fully appreciate the anger in America. I am also angry but my vision was blocked, as I did not see the entire picture. I believe many of us are blinded to a certain extent. My small area is not flooded with Muslims like other areas but when the sun goes down the illegals come out to Walmart & rarely in the daylight. Odd but true.

You see after watching this documentary, doing more research on the web, I now understand the cries of the masses who follow Trump. It is a travesty what the Democrats, the Liberals Progressives have done to this country under Obama & with his blessing under his reign. The Republicans should have done much more to stop him but they have not. The country has suffered, much like in a nasty divorce where children are the ones who suffer, Americans have been the pawns in an ugly, vicious fight among the political parties. The Democrats have lied, stripped away rights, crammed gay marriage, transgender surgeries, partial birth & late term abortions down our throats like geese being force fed before their slaughter, so the wealthy can dine on pate. Americans have been oppressed by political garbage paraded as Political Correctness, whereby if you have any normal, rational, average thoughts you are rapidly demeaned by being called a bigot, racist, offensive zealot, therefore Americans were shamed into complying with the PC police or thought/speech police headed up by the Liberals. Democrats slowly moved into be called liberals, the progressives & now the Democratic socialist. Slowly bit by bit acclimating society to their extreme views & abnormal values. The more they have you accept the more you will accept as normal until abnormal is the "new Normal". TV & movie, music industries have been doing this for decades, the political ideologues of the 1960's & 1970's who followed socialism have wormed their way into the white House via Bill & Hillary Clinton aka Hill-Billy along with Barack & Michelle Obama, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Al Gore etc. Google them to see what they have done. They are all socialist progressives who are for One World Order, as they want America to walk lock step with them in a Hitler manner. They know America will Not Willingly do this at first BUT given time, patience, redefining words, renaming what you know to be right as wrong & vice versa some where along the way you will become accustomed or conditioned to accept certain changes, until one day you realize that the America you knew has been Changed. While you were working to make a living wage to feed your family, the progressives were scheming their way into political positions where they are paid with American Taxpayer dollars, to implement their Alinsky/Lennon ideology. They knew you wanted to give your children a better America, so they took advantage of that & of Americans going one step further to indoctrinate your children while they were in public schools or colleges. When you awoke from what seemed like a nightmare to find that your hometown now has 20% unemployment, although the federal government under Obama admit to 4-6% at any given time, you see that can not possibly be true. You see Muslims on every corner not assimilating, many of them not speaking English especially the women, yet they demand special dietary considerations for their children in public schools. They demand their rights even though many thousands, hundreds of thousands are Not even citizens yet they demand, that we cower to their demands. You see illegals from Mexico, the Middle East being trained for jobs Americans once held, but the Progressives try to hypnotize you into believing that those jobs are not wanted by Americans. More lies!

The brainwashing began with Bill Clinton asking the most ignorant question in the history of mankind, "What is IS?" Let's face it from there it was all downhill when a disgraced sitting President can ask such a obviously redundant question while being questioned on impeachment charges. Bill Clinton is a blight on America! Just this week he attempted in a feeble cracking voice to verbally assault a vet who asked about Bengahzi at a Hillary rally. Well what about it Hillary? What about Bengahzi? You see if you are the POTUS to the Secretary of State you were not hired to be  asking philosophical questions like "What is IS or Bengahzi is a video tape or is it?" The Clintons failed America, just as the Obamas have failed.

Mitch McConnell, John Boehner neither one held Obama accountable for his feckless, reckless executive actions. They failed as well! Obama has broken several laws & now it seems Paul Ryan is walking down the same path of the GOP, down the yellow brick road of the Washington Beltway. It is unlawful to allow a POTUS to put radical Islam before the security of the American people. You can not expect to have the American people respect the law if the sitting President, the former Secretary of State, the IRS as a whole are all breaking laws including the DOJ who were running guns into Mexico under the guise of Fast & Furious. How about some of these people in the White House admin face charges? Now that would check up some of the lawlessness. The White House thinks they can brainwash America into falling for their racial divisive rhetoric, assaulting police officers with upholding such groups as BLM or Black Lives Matter while disregarding All Lives Matter. Anything less than All Lives Matter is racist! The brainwashing of good is bad, bad is good, wrong is right, right is wrong has got to stop. America is fed up with sugar coating BS & force feeding it to us under the branding of "Health Food", the entire PC culture is nothing more than BS or plain old crap!

The more you accept, the more you will accept much like a hostage being brainwashed or a spouse who is abused, at some point your view of normal becomes skewed, you are told 3 or more times repeatedly in sentences the same lies until you begin to accept the lies as truth. One day you wake up to this madness of ghost towns where thriving towns once were, Muslims demanding Sharia Law & that those around them not cook pork as it offends them. You see bus loads of Mexicans none of whom speak English disembarking from the bus onto a construction site, yet you friends in this industry can not find work.

Trump has struck a chord with Americans of many races fed up with the Federal Government, fed up with bureaucracy, fed up with lies, fed up with having America hijacked by illegals who came here illegally & feed off of our system like ticks. Obama has played the magician far too long asking that you look at the right hand while the left hand waves in illegals. You are so distracted that you never see that the border fences were left wide open in spots strategically next to Cartel warehouses where drugs are being made & illegals flow through, you never saw it. You never wanted to be handed a name tag that would stick to you, a name such as racist, heartless bigot so when Nancy Pelosi calls Illegals the new term of "Undocumented Workers" well you just accepted that as a nicer version, a more non-offensive version of the real word Illegal.
Let's cut the the reality check shall we? All BS aside no hold barred, the truth is if something is not legal it IS illegal. If someone is not here legally, then they are illegal...period. No more sugar coating the issues! America has allowed fast talking liars like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary & Bill Clinton, Barack & Michelle Obama, John Kerry, Joe Biden to hijack America!

The Democratic party who I once was a member of many years ago, allowed whack jobs like Debbie Wasserman Schultz along with her progressive buddies to push the lines farther & farther left, until Bingo you have hit socialism as a political party. It happened quicker than anyone thought thanks to the PC police & their minions through social media branding people with the "Race" card branding iron.
Trump struck a chord & the choir behind him sang a Twisted Sister tune, "We're not gonna take it!" America has had enough of being fed a diet of BS. America will not tolerate the arrogance of people like Hillary saying to a crowd of mostly black Alabamians, "They are going to take away your rights, your right to vote." Lies All lies! America has awaken from the Party From Hell & they are mad as hell! America will undoubtedly overwhelming vote in Donald J. Trump to be our next President of the United States of America. Regardless of what you may think of him or his lack of policies other than to hire the right people, he will no doubt be 1000% percent better than the alternative of a untrustworthy Hillary who just this last week barked like a dog to get votes. The bitch has barked! Then there would be the Feel the Heartburn Bernie who promises to complete the transformation that Obama began in making America a third world country to atone for her sins of being successful.

I know see why the Trump fans have firmly planted their feet into the ground for The Donald, they are afraid that we do not have another 4 years to gamble with anymore, after what Obama has done in the last 7 years. It's beyond reprehensible! So Trump fans I am coming to accept your choice. I see why you are asking Republicans, Conservatives, Independents & Rhino Democrats, hell any Democrats to coalesce around Trump to save America! We may not have another roll of the dice. We gambled with the last 23 almost 24 years & look what we got for it. I will encourage all who are not Progressives & Socialists to rally around the GOP nominee to defeat the Democrats & save America! It would do no good to speak to Progressives or Socialists as they are too busy trying to find new ways to correct the wording to be non offensive. So to coin a phrase or word from Donald Trump & Vicente Fox "F#$k 'em!" What time is the Trump train leaving? God help me!

The story does not end when one leaves the stage

The sands of time will never erase the impression you have made upon my soul. ~ Lisa Morgan

It was laid upon my heart today to write this blog post. I'm not sure why. What matters is that it will hopefully touch one person out there with a heavy heart or a hardened heart.

There is always that day in your life when someone close to your heart & soul passes away from this life leaving you asking why. Why is that person dead? Why is the world still turning? Why are people laughing? Can't everyone see the anguish you're feeling, the heart wrenching agony of a love lost or a friend lost? Why is the world not stopping as I mourn? It does not seem fair.

The truth is it is not fair but your mama always told you life was not fair or she should have told you that anyway. The reason the world keeps turning, the reason people continue to laugh, marriages take place, first kisses happen, the birds sing, women go into labor with the newest arrivals to this Earth is quite simple, so simple in fact, that while you grieve it makes no sense.

Life goes on after each life passes away because it must be that way. God is no respecter of persons; meaning no one is more important than the other. Whether you are a king or a pauper, a rock star or homeless person, from America, Africa, Saudi Arabia, China, Israel or anyplace in between. no one is greater than the next to God, for we are all equal in his eyes. if everything stopped for one then it would mean that life was more important than the next life or the previous life. The only time the skies went pitch black in the mid afternoon without the sun was when Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary. The earth moaned at what had taken place as the Son of God was crucified, after the people prayed for a savior & God sent his only begotten Son to the world, they rejected him. They were foretold centuries earlier how his birth would take place & of the holiness but the people were of the world, so they refused to see Jesus as the Christ. When you are of the world or emerged in the ways of the world, then you can not see what is right in front of your face because you have the sight of the world & not the sight of grace.
When you have the sight of grace or you walk with God, having accepted his Son Jesus or Yeshua (in the Hebrew language, there is no "J" sound in the Hebrew language, Ye-shoo-ah) then you see things with more clarity, as your spiritual eyes, ears along with your physical eyes & ears are opened; whereby you see the ways of the world for what they actually are which is not of God.

I said all that to state the obvious, no one among us, before us or after us will cause the world to stop, except Jesus/Yeshua. No one is greater than the next, we are all children of God our creator. We all have the exact same opportunity to love God, to honor him, to serve him, to accept his Son Jesus/Yeshua as our savior, as God loves us all the same. We will all be judged based on our deeds. You see the world must go on, children will continue to laugh, people will still fall in love, babies will enter into the world screaming to declare they have arrived. It is just as it should be. The lovers kissing, the puppies playing, birds singing, babies cooing & children laughing are to bring hope to the grieving soul, with the knowledge that life will go on with promise. The laughter, singing, sunshine, rain & yes the screams of a new born babe entering into the world are here to bring joy to the grieving soul.

Grieve for the ones who you have lost. They will not be coming back to you in this lifetime thus you are saddened as you should be but rejoice after that knowing that one day you will again see them in heaven. After the pain subsides, one day you will smile again as you hear laughter, you will laugh as your soul heals, you will most certainly never forget those that have made a lasting impression upon your soul; this is as it should be. There is a time for everything. I say this to all who are saddened, "This too shall pass." You will find you soul shine again just wait for it.
